This flag is made from 100% polyester, which handles light outdoor display well. It's fine for weekends, events, and occasional flying. For continuous 24/7 outdoor display, expect the colors to start fading after 3–5 months of direct daily sun — polyester has less UV resistance than nylon. If you plan to fly it year-round outdoors, take it inside on windy or stormy days. The fabric is fade-resistant, which slows but does not stop UV degradation over time.
How do I hang or display this flag?
This flag has a pole sleeve (also called a header sleeve) along the left edge instead of grommets. Slide your flagpole through the sleeve from bottom to top. A standard ⅝–¾ inch diameter pole fits most sleeve flags. The sleeve style is common on smaller desk and parade flags and gives a cleaner look without visible hardware.
Are the colors accurate? Is this single-sided or double-sided?
The flag is printed using dye-sublimation, which bonds the ink directly into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it. This is a double-sided flag — both sides are printed, so the design is visible from either direction. Colors are accurate to the official flag specification. Note that on double-sided flags, each side is a separate printed panel sewn together, so there is a slight seam down the middle when held up to strong light — this is normal construction, not a defect.
